01Who we are

DSN Elite Wallet (“the Service”, “we”, “us”) is the closed-loop family wallet operated for DSN Elite Camp (“the Camp”). It lets parents and guardians fund a camper's wallet, set spending rules, approve purchases, and see activity, while campers pay at Camp points of sale with a tap of their wristband. This policy explains what information the Service handles and why. Questions: support@dsnelitewallet.com.

02Information we collect

  • Parent account information — your name, email address, phone number, and password (stored only as a salted hash).
  • Camper information — name, date of birth, grade, allergy and dietary notes, an optional photo used by cashiers to verify identity at checkout, and the identifier of the wristband paired to the camper. Camper information is provided by you or by the Camp — we do not collect information directly from children.
  • Transaction information — wallet balances, top-ups, purchases, declines, refunds, activation fees, and the spending limits and category rules you set.
  • Payment information — handled by Stripe, Inc. Your full card number never touches our servers; we store only the card brand, last four digits, and expiry so you can recognize your saved cards.
  • Device information — a push-notification token if you enable notifications, and standard technical logs (IP address, timestamps, request metadata) kept for security and troubleshooting.

03How we use it

  • Operating the wallet: authorizing purchases against your balance, limits, and rules in real time.
  • Notifying you: approval requests, purchase activity, top-up receipts, lost-and-found band alerts, and sign-in links.
  • Payments: creating charges and saving cards with Stripe at your direction.
  • Safety and security: fraud prevention, audit trails of every authorization, and account protection.
  • Support: responding when you contact us.

We do not sell personal information, share it with data brokers, or use it for third-party advertising. There is no advertising in the Service.

04Children's privacy

The Service is for parents and guardians; camper profiles exist so the Camp can run its wallet program. Camper information is supplied and controlled by the parent or the Camp — campers do not create accounts, sign in, or submit information to the Service themselves. If you believe we hold information about a child that should be corrected or removed, contact us and we will work with the Camp to resolve it promptly.

05Service providers

  • Stripe (payment processing) — card details go directly to Stripe; their handling is governed by Stripe's privacy policy.
  • The Xit Group (transactional email) — delivers sign-in links, receipts, and notifications to the email address on your account.
  • Apple Push Notification service — delivers notifications to your device if you opt in.

Each provider receives only what it needs to perform its function and may not use your information for its own purposes.

06Security

All traffic is encrypted in transit (TLS). Every purchase authorization is decided server-side — wristbands and terminals carry no balance and cannot be tampered with to spend funds. Sessions are revocable, passwords are hashed, and sign-in links are single-use and short-lived. No system is perfectly secure, but we design so that the blast radius of any single lost device or band is minimal.

07Retention & account deletion

You can delete your account at any time in the app under Settings → Delete account (or by emailing us). Deletion permanently removes your sign-in credentials, saved payment methods, push-notification registrations, and personal contact details, and revokes every active session.

What we retain: wallet and purchase records are the Camp's financial books. We retain transaction history, refunds, and fee records — disassociated from your deleted contact details — as required for the Camp's bookkeeping, dispute resolution, and legal obligations. Camper roster data is controlled by the Camp; ask the Camp office to remove it.

08Your choices

  • Push notifications can be turned off in iOS Settings or inside the app at any time.
  • Saved cards can be removed in the app; removing all cards disables auto-reload.
  • You may request a copy or correction of your information by emailing us.
  • Marketing email: we don't send any. All email from us is transactional.

09Changes

If we make material changes to this policy we will update the date above and notify you in the app or by email before the changes take effect.
